Aciclovir Cream 5% w/w (Pack of 2g)

Aciclovir 5% Cream is an antiviral treatment used to relieve symptoms of cold sores caused by the herpes simplex virus. It helps speed up healing and reduces pain, itching, or burning when applied at the first sign of an outbreak.

Aciclovir works by stopping the virus from multiplying, which prevents the cold sore from developing fully and allows the skin to heal more quickly.

How to use: Adults and children can apply a thin layer of Aciclovir Cream to the affected area up to five times daily (approximately every 4 hours, but not overnight). Treatment should continue for at least 4 days and up to 10 days if healing has not occurred. Wash your hands before and after applying. Do not apply inside the eyes, mouth, or genitals.

Precautions:

• Do not use if you are allergic to aciclovir, valaciclovir, or any of the ingredients.

• For external use only.

• Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding without medical advice.

• Consult a doctor if symptoms worsen or do not improve after 10 days.

• Do not share your cream with others, as this can spread infection.
