Ibuprofen 400mg tablets

Ibuprofen 400mg tablets provide effective relief from pain, inflammation, and fever. They are commonly used for headaches, migraines, muscle aches, period pain, dental pain, backache, arthritis, and the general aches and pains associated with cold and flu.

Ibuprofen belongs to a group of medicines known as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). It works by reducing the production of prostaglandins – chemicals in the body that cause pain, swelling, and fever – helping to relieve discomfort and inflammation.

How to take: Adults and adolescents over 12 years can usually take half to one tablet every 6 hours as needed, swallowed with water. If you have a sensitive stomach, it may help to take ibuprofen after food. Do not take more than 3 tablets (1200mg) in 24 hours.

Precautions:

• Do not take if you are allergic to ibuprofen, aspirin, or other NSAIDs.

• Avoid use if you have stomach ulcers, severe heart problems, liver or kidney disease, or if you are in the last 3 months of pregnancy.

• Speak to your doctor or pharmacist before use if you are in the first 6 months of pregnancy, breastfeeding, or taking other medications.
