Paracetamol 500mg tablets are a trusted treatment for pain relief and fever. They are widely used to ease common conditions such as headaches, migraines, toothache, backache, muscular aches, period pain, sore throats, and the aches and pains that come with colds and flu.

Paracetamol works by reducing pain signals in the brain and lowering body temperature when you have a fever. It is one of the most frequently used medicines worldwide and is considered safe when taken at the recommended dose.

How to take: Adults and children over 16 can usually take 1–2 tablets up to 4 times in 24 hours, leaving at least 4 hours between doses. Do not take more than 8 tablets in any 24-hour period. Paracetamol generally starts to work within an hour.
